Affiliate marketing is a business relationship which includes a vendor or other service provider who lets you link to that particular business. Each time a visitor follows the link at the site and subsequently makes a purchase from the service provider, you get a commission based on the level of the sale made through your website or actually through your affiliate link.The merchant might be selling a product or service such as: DVDs ,e books or digital products …they need to be attempting to sign up clients .

After you apply to a certain affiliate program you will get a link which is called “affiliate link”.This affiliate link given to you is unique ( only for you and your account )and it will contains your affiliate ID [a number or your affiliate name]. This link allows the merchant or Vendor to monitor sales generated from your visitors with the intention that you get your commission for sales generated through your affiliate link.You then need to place this link in your site in an appropriate place and get some traffic to this specific link or your website .

Every time someone clicks on that link on your website it takes them to the product (X) main webpage.
